Theater at Epidauros

To the left is the theater at epidauros. I chose this because even back then they had stadiums. here is where they expressed religious believes through music, poetry, and dance. Most of the plays in the fifth century BCE were tragedies based on popular myths. Now this is very to what we have today. WE also have stadiums and theater. But obviously they are a little more advanced nowadays.

Yeah, I love the theater at epidauros..it reminds me of shoreline, have you been there? Anyways, I do wish some artists would perform at simple theaters like this more often rather than clubs or huge pavillions--then there would be more emphasis on the artist themselves, and more money would go to the artist rather than so much of it going to a fancy place holding the concert. FOr example, there are hardcore fees from what I remember for going to see people at shoreline.

I never saw this one in real life, but it does remind me of a similar theater I saw in Turkey a couple of years ago. I do not know how old that theater was, I do know it looked very similar like this one. The cool thing about that theater in turkey was that they still use it as a special occasion to perform plays there. Pretty cool don't you think :)
